President Hinckley's Passing
When I heard the news of President Hinckley's passing my emotions were bitter sweet. He will be missed so much. His sense of humor and wit was so unique and delightful. His vision for temples was grand. He was a wonderful president and prophet for our church. Even though I don't know him personally I can easily say I truly loved him.

Cut and Color
This week I got down the stairs with Graham, the diaper bag and my purse. I then drove to my mother-in-laws and dropped off Graham to be watched while I went to get a long overdue hair cut and color. I was proud of myself even though the effort nearly did me in. I must say that getting your hair done can really help your spirits. My color was so grown out it was scary and my hair was as long as it's been in years. Now it has a short style and highlights again. I love it!

No way...
Over the last few days I've not been feeling great, but trying to do my best with the baby. I saw my Neurologist and talked with the Cardiologist this week. I also connected with a Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt where they do much of the research on my condition. Oddly enough when I was browsing the internet I discovered that Greg Page, the yellow Wiggle (Yes the Wiggles) has POTS and had to retire this past year. Crazy!

Happy Happy Birthday!
Today is my most handsome husband's birthday! I want to wish him the happiest of all birthdays! He is 32... yes my old man. I love him so much and could never have made it through the last three months without his love and support. He is the most wonderful, kind, generous and loving man I know. I hope he has a wonderful 32nd year!!!!

My good friend Judy Grow was staying with my a few weeks ago and introduced us to this most wonderful foreign film. The name is Vitus. I tried to get the trailer to pop up on my blog, but I think the POTS has gone to my brain or blogger really didn't want you all to see it. Try going to this link to view... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfAZOnBV1Zg We watched it again last night with Marty's family and I was again amazed! Rent it, Buy it, Watch it... I promise you will be better because of it.

Bulls-Eye Boutique
I went to Target today with Graham and my mom. It was a momentous occasion. I was walking for about an hour. That's huge for me!
Isn't Target the best?

The True Stay-at-Home Mom
When you've taken 100 pictures of your son on the same brown sofa, you know it's time to leave the house. He sure is cute though!
I took him to the doctor yesterday and luckily it's not RSV. He said it sounded more like croup... which isn't a lot better. He told me what to listen for so now I have my stethoscope out listening to his breath sounds. His right ear is also pink so I have antibiotics and I'm just suppose to watch him and see how he is acting. It's like a mini clinic over here and he is my best patient!

TWELVE WEEKS
It has been twelve weeks since the birth of my tiny (well not so tiny any more) baby Graham! He is actually sick today with a temperature, cough and congestion... so sad. Over the last twelve weeks so many people have helped us through the long days as we often watch the clock tick along. Thank You! I've held the words of my mother in the back of my mind, "You'll turn the Corner at twelve weeks!" There is something about 12 wks postpartum that is significant and I'm holding my breath for the next seven days!:)
I've been taking care of Graham for several days now on my own and surviving okay. I've also been doing the recumbent bike per doctors orders and taking all my medications. So in summary I'm being a very obedient patient. My goal for this next week is to be able to get Graham down to the car and back up again. My sister Meg had a good idea and said I could just leave the car seat in the car and carry Graham solo. This would help the weight factor when climbing the three flights of stairs! I'll report when the goal is completed...

Staying Positive
For those reading my blog I assume they know about my health problems since the birth of Graham. So I plan not to do a summary of the course of events, but to say the least I've been sick! I've opened my computer several times today to post something and really didn't know what to say. Today has not been a good day and the nausea has been awful. I'm trying to stay positive during this time, but some days are harder than others. I'm grateful for my family and friends- I love you all and thank you for the support! I'll hope and pray for a better day tomorrow...
