We recently got this saucer for Graham. It look Marty an hour to assemble because it had so many parts. Does a 6 month old need such intense color and gismos? I guess so... because I'm the one who picked it out!

Dearest Jess, the intense colors and gismos are designed to attract the attention of parents, because parents have the credit cards. A six-month old is content with a tupperware lid, an extension cord, or a shiny but empty snack-size potato chip sack. However, assembly of these saucers provides a good exercise of eye-hand coordination for the father....

the bad thing about buying toys is you never know if they're gonna love them or hate them! we bought a jolly jumper for Max and he never really used it. He much preferred to play with the toys on it rather than jump:) But most babies love the saucer thing! How could he not, look at all the stimulation. Anyhow, i was going to ask if you got the cd ok? i sent it forever ago but last time i spoke with my mom she said you hadn't gotten it yet and that was like a week after i sent it..

graham is so cute!! rice cereal is a big step.. congrats
