Stanford

The past few weeks have been busy. I know that's probably hard to believe considering how sick I've been, but I really did feel pretty well for about two weeks. Marty used Graham in a commercial and was working on a film sketch for a contest. I had a test done on Monday morning and before I went in I had to go off all my medication. It went fine, the test was miserable, but I was able to go back on my medication soon afterwards. The big news is Marty and I are flying to California to see a specialist for POTS at Stanford. Her name is Karen Friday and I have heard and read wonderful things about her. We are hoping and praying for a successful visit. We hope to learn some things that will help me improve and also to gain some understanding on possibly what happened and what to expect. My wonderful mother is watching the baby so the journey should be easier. We will only be gone for 24 hours so I'll report on what we discover. Keep us in your prayers and let's hope for the best!

Hi Jess. I was afraid I missed your CA visit. I was hoping I got to watch Graham for you but perhaps we can meet up on campus. Hope all goes well with your tests. See you soon!

Very glad to hear things went well out there, sounds like there's some light at the end of the tunnel...even if you still don't know where the end is. :)
